Software Engineer · Seattle, WA
Monika Singh
I'm a software engineer based in Seattle, WA who has spent the last 7+ years building systems that quietly keep massive operations running. At Amazon, I've designed and scaled fulfillment and delivery capacity platforms that power thousands of grocery sites across the US, EU, and India — the kind of infrastructure most people never think about, but everyone depends on.
I'm drawn to the hard problems: how do you make something chaotic — like real-time delivery scheduling across 600+ fulfillment centers — feel predictable and resilient? My answer usually involves clean abstractions, good observability, and a lot of careful design work before any code gets written.
Lately I've been working on conversational AI infrastructure — building agent-driven testing platforms for chat and voice experiences, and exploring how context-aware systems can make customer support feel more natural and less repetitive.
I hold an M.S. in Computer Science from USC, and I've been an engineer at Amazon since 2018.
Outside of systems and code, I spend my time with Maui (my Australian Shepherd, relentlessly energetic, endlessly smart) and Ralph (my roommate's Golden Retriever, a professional napper). Seattle suits me — the quiet, the mountains, the coffee.
If you want to talk distributed systems, delivery infrastructure, or just show me a picture of your dog, my email is always open.
